Rooms & cleaning area

Add spaces and combined areas, then review property condition and scope.

Enter only spaces you will clean. Area is the combined square footage for all rooms in that row, not the size of each room. Count 0 leaves a category out. Do not overlap areas.

Room definitions & area tips

Full bath: toilet, sink and bath/shower. Half bath: toilet and sink. An open-plan living/dining space can be one common area. Enter only the finished basement area included in cleaning; list unfinished or special work as a custom extra after assessment.

Condition does not auto-adjust your price. Review labor for buildup; special contamination requires your own assessment.

Scope & assessment options

Use this for individually assessed work or a custom-service quote. Enter zero base hours when all work is listed as extras, and deselect base tasks that are not part of this job.

Confirm work included in this quote 2 task groups selected

Selected work appears on your customer quote. Each group covers several tasks in the rooms you selected; this is a starting checklist, not a universal definition of Standard cleaning.

Checking or unchecking work does not change hours or price. Review your labor allowances in step 02 after changing this list. Add separately priced work in step 03.

REAL WORK STARTS WITH A CLEAR PLAN

Good conversations.
Fewer surprises.

From the first walkthrough to the last wipe-down, a clear scope helps both sides know what to expect.

BEFORE YOU QUOTE

Start with a good conversation.

Walk through the rooms together. Ask what needs extra attention before you decide how many hours the job needs.

Your time matters: ask about buildup, access and the extras.

WHEN YOU AGREE ON THE PRICE

Put the promise on paper.

A friendly chat is a great start. A written scope makes it clear what the price covers — and what needs a separate quote.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Frequently asked
questions.

View all 13 questions

A few essentials to get started. Find the complete answers in our FAQ guide.

01Is the cleaning quote calculator free?+

Quotewise is in beta. All current beta features are free, with no account or payment details required. The full release may introduce paid features or plans. Pricing and any free limits have not been decided; details will be published before paid access is offered.

02What do I enter when two cleaners work together?+

Cleaner count estimates time on site; it does not multiply labor cost. Add their hours together. If two cleaners each work for three hours, set the area allowances to total six base person-hours, or enter six assessed base hours, and choose two cleaners. If the six hours include extras, enter their hours separately in step 03 rather than counting them in the base hours too. The rough time on site is three hours. Do not multiply the labor cost by two again.

03Can I quote the first clean and regular visits separately?+

Yes. For recurring residential service, choose Standard or Deep for the first visit; ongoing visits use Standard maintenance with an editable scope and separate hours and prices. Move-out is quoted as a one-time service. You can use different ongoing costs and mark extras as first-visit only or every visit. The ongoing discount reduces the base portion (base labor plus per-visit supplies, travel and overhead), not extras; the protected minimum can limit the discount. Repeated rental turnovers need their own individually assessed quotes.

04Can I download the estimate?+

Yes. Confirm your final price first, then choose Download PDF or Text file in the customer preview. The file includes the agreed services, final prices, exclusions and validity date, but no private costs or notes. If you edit the job, confirm the new prices before downloading again. Files are generated in your browser, not uploaded to a quote server.
